1. Why did you decide to go back to school to become a librarian at this stage in your life? Because I wanted to finish my degree first, since I love reading and spending time with books, librarianship seemed a perfect fit.
2. What area of the library are you interested in working in? I am interested in the children and youth services areas of the library. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about both of these areas and feel a kinship with them.
3. Coming from your Navy background, would you be interested in working for a DOD library? Yes. My husband and I are overseas now, and I am volunteering in the local library on base. It was a delightful surprise at how up-to-date and forward-thinking this small library is.
