I earned my Associate of Arts Degree in 1991 from Tallahassee Community College

I have worked in retail since I was 18 years old. I have worked for department stores, Christian bookstores, and Hallmark over my career. I have gained valuable skills by working with customers, receiving new merchandise, and helping prepare the stores when new sales start. I have been charged with taking care of money and a complete store as an Assistant Manager. I work with Microsoft Word, and I have learned more about the different parts of Microsoft Office.

I am a member of three different professional organizations: LISSA (Libraries and Information Studies Student Association) at USM, American Library Association, and the Florida Library Association.
